Hi I'm Kirsten! I'm am overall nerd, head Mermaid Child zookeeper, and also into way too many shows and science! I love bringing characters to the real world and the challenges of each one. I started to learn how to sew in 2012, mostly making small things like purses, pillows, and simple clothing. In 2015 I stared cosplaying because it was the first year we were going to SDCC and we NEEDED to cosplay at it. I'm slightly obsessed with details in cosplays. Enough to spend over 100 hours embroidering a skirt, hand sculpting skulls, gluing over 6000 rhinestones to ONE corset, etc.
One of my favorite cosplay memories was at my second SDCC when a Sailor Moon fan came up and said she was so excited to see a cosplay of her favorite character, human Luna cosplay. She asked for a few pictures and was so nice! Bringing characters to life... that's what I'm here for.

I’m Ally! I’m a nerd and a con mom and a weirdo and it’s great. I’ve been cosplaying (legit cosplaying anyway) for about three years, and going to local Texas cons for 5! I’ve really fallen in love with cosplay and the idea of bringing a character to life. It’s so uplifting and brings out a spirit in me that I haven’t had since I was a kid!
My favorite parts of cosplay are props and wigs! I love working in the garage on a new lance or armor, inhaling foam dust and adhesives (safely mind you)! And the struggle of figuring out how to make a wig work. I love doing photoshoots and deciding how a character would act in that situation. There really isn’t much more to say other than I think cosplay is one of the greatest hobbies in the world!

Photographer, pinball nerd, project manager, and total cat dad. Rob has had over eight years of videography, photography, and live streaming experience. He has performed media operations for websites such as 8BitX.com and chiptuneswin.com along with being a staff member/department head for conventions such as MAGFest, San Japan, Crunchyroll Expo, and DreamHack. A great way to say "Hello" to him is to hand him a good beer. And yes, he does tend to take his shoes off when in the studio.
