The team of Make Them Awesome put on their Light Painting and Cosplay Photography panel at Ikkicon 2019. People asked some great questions and had a lot of fun with us!
Another step in helping people learn and have fun doing it: putting on photography demos at cons. The first attempt was at OkashiCon 2019, and Rob talks about how both panels went.
After our most recent photo adventure where we utilized a PixelStick Rob thought it might be a good idea to do some testing to figure out how to get the best output from it. And some of the results were a bit surprising.
Our first project of 2019 and we tackled a number of new things. First: some brand new costumes of Bowsette and Boosette based off of Hannah Alexander’s work, and Chompette from ANN4RT. Second: we tried some light painting with the PixelStick!
It's not easy to explain to people how we come up with our photo set ideas. There are some practical things we employ but other are not so straightforward. Why are we so open to the random bit that may drive us to put something together? Turns out it could be explained by science.
